Jim Verdonik is the founder of BOARDSTRATEGIES.COM.  He regularly advises Boards of Directors and management of public and private companies about Board and other corporate governance issues.  He is a partner with Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP, a national law firm.

Salim Bhatia

Tim Gillam is the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Audit Partner for the Raleigh Office of Deloitte & Touche.  He has over 14 years of experience in accounting and auditing.  Tim specializes in serving growth companies and has in-depth experience in serving both public and private companies, including public equity and debt offerings, private placement offerings, initial public offerings, and SEC compliance services.  He has been involved with nine public offerings in the past three years.

Jeff LeRose

Jeffrey W. LeRose is the President of Research Triangle Software, an electronic commerce technology company.  He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Internet Commerce Corporation (Nasdaq:ICCA), which acquired Jeff’s company, Research Triangle Commerce.  He has been published widely in both national and local, technology and business publications.  He is a founding Board Member for the Research Triangle Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors and has served on many Boards of Directors.

Steve Nelson

Steve Nelson is Managing Director and Partner in the Wakefield Group, a venture capital firm which manages more than $100 million of capital.  Steve established Wakefield’s Research Triangle Park, NC office.

Steve has many years of executive and general management experience in technology, software and Internet-based businesses in Silicon Valley and elsewhere.  He has served as Chairman of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED), the largest entrepreneurial membership organization in the U.S.   He is an adjunct professor for entrepreneurship at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and lectures frequently at Duke University.  He has served on the Boards of Directors of many companies. 

Bob Broda

Bob is Managing Partner of Visage Solutions, LLC, an operational assessment and risk mitigation consulting firm assisting companies with Sarbanes Oxley compliance while reducing overall risk and improving operations.

Bob has an extensive background in commercial software and professional services and most recently served as General manager of an Invensys business unit. He received an Executive MBA from SMU. Bob also as an extensive background in the utilities industry.
